The temperature sensor in the electric water heater is mainly used to detect the water temperature. After the water temperature reaches the set temperature, the power supply of the heating pipe is cut off through the control circuit. The water temperature of the electric water heater is passed through the sensor to the temperature monitor to display the water temperature, and the water temperature of the electric water heater inner tank is passed to the temperature regulator through the sensor, and the water will be stopped automatically when you reach the temperature you adjust. If there is no temperature sensor, then the electric water heater will be heated all the time, and it will continue to burn when it is boiled.

Optical fiber temperature sensor

Electric water heaters convert the temperature into usable output signals by changing the physical properties of materials with temperature. The temperature sensor is the core part of the temperature measuring instrument. According to the measurement, it can be divided into two categories: contact type and non contact type. According to the characteristics of sensor material and electronic component, it can be divided into two categories: thermal resistance and thermocouple. The modern temperature sensor is very compact in shape, which makes it more widely used in various fields of production practice.

Contact temperature sensor:

The contact temperature sensor is a state of heat balance through conduction or convection, so that its display value can directly indicate the temperature of the object being measured. Generally speaking, its measurement accuracy is relatively high. At a certain temperature, it can even measure the difference between the temperature inside the body.

Non contact temperature sensor:

A non-contact temperature sensor, its sensitive element is not contacted with the tested object. It is also called non-contact temperature measuring instrument. This instrument can be used to measure the surface temperature of a moving object, small target and small heat capacity or rapid temperature change (transient), and can also be used to measure the temperature distribution of the temperature field.

Thermal resistance temperature sensor:

The thermistor temperature sensor is a sensor thermometer based on the principle that the resistance value of a conductor or semiconductor varies with temperature. The thermistor temperature sensor is divided into two categories: metal thermal resistance and semiconductor thermistor. Thermal resistance is widely used to measure the temperature in the range of -200~+850 C. In a few cases, the temperature can be measured to 1K, and the high temperature reaches 1000 degrees C. The thermoelectric resistance sensor consists of a thermal resistor, a connecting wire and a display instrument. The thermoelectric resistance can also be connected to a temperature transmitter, and the temperature is converted to a standard current signal output. The materials used to make thermoelectric resistance should have the maximum and stable resistance temperature coefficient and resistivity, the best output is linear, the physical and chemical properties are stable, and the compound line is good.
